The Toyota RZ engine family is a straight-four piston engine series built in Japan. The RZ series uses a cast-iron engine block and aluminum SOHC or DOHC cylinder heads.

The 3RZ engine is a 2.7-liter inline-four engine that was produced by Toyota from 1995 to 2004. It was used in a variety of Toyota vehicles, including the Tacoma, 4Runner, and Hilux.
